Q. What is the service area of Paintsville Utilities?
A. The district’s service area covers the City of Paintsville and Johnson County, as well as portions of Floyd, Lawrence, and Morgan Counties.

Q. When I leave for the winter can I disconnect my service?
A. You may disconnect your water and gas service. There is a $20 reconnection fee.

Q. Are transfer fees or reconnection fees refundable?
A. No, these fees are not deposits they are non-refundable service charges.

Q. When is payment due?
A. Payment is to be received by the close of business (4:00 pm) on the 15th of each month. Payment received after close of business will be assessed a 25% penalty.
